    The program for the Bridge project consists of composers Samuel Barber, Sergei Rachmaninoff, George Enesco, Bela Bartok, Noriko Nakamura, and Bonnie McAlvin. The works are chosen as a result of their intrinsic beauty, their ability to open an empathic space, and their ability to evoke images of bridges and connection.

    A film will be commissioned for each of the musical works, and will be shown while the music is performed (live). In this way, the films will impact the interpretation of the music, and the musical interpretation will impact the interpretation of the film.
